Welcome to my planet here in Stanley, Tasmania. Being a complete techno-idiot when I started back into the music industry in 2007 I enlisted the assistance of a friend to do most of the technical aspects involving the internet. All I've had to do is provide some old photos & have up-to date ones taken now & again (which is a real joy) & then answer quite a few questions that seem appropriate. I didn't have to do anything else initially except ask for some private matters omitted. I barely have to touch a keyboard. This introduction has been transcribed from a home recording, which over-rides my broad Scottish accent.
What started off as recording at home purely as a 'vodka avoidance' exercise progressed to having my music put onto the internet, this website & my living.
So a Scots guy messing about with music in a small recording studio in Tasmania has ended up being much more than was initially intended. Aside from the music & merchandise on this site being my sole form of income, it also includes the most personal information about myself on the internet.
I hope that you find this an enjoyable place to be as that is what its' intent is. In no way do I intend to offend, upset or hurt anyone. Having said this, there's no-doubt someone out there who's going to be offended by some aspects. I do not apologise for this. Like myself, there is no racism, sexism or any other 'dodgy' content here; I don't buy into that sort of nonsense.
There is the very occasional swear-word but until someone can tell me who decided what a swear word is & why, then my tone shall remain. There are a few innuendos here & there but, again, not aimed at hurting or offending anyone. The more narrow-minded & less comedic folks probably won't recognise them anyway. For the purposes of this website I'm a Scottish rock musician recording in Tasmania; that's all.
