Mom’s New Apartment in Albuquerque New Mexico

moving on a budget

John and I moved to Albuquerque in 2009 when he was offered a challenging opportunity at a bank in town. We loved it here from the get go. Parks were in walking distance from our new house, restaurants were abundant and the school we put the kids in was amazing. One of our favorite places to walk to is right down the street from our house, the
Cherry Hills Library. We love our city and told everyone we know back home all about it. In the last year my Mom decided on a whim that it was time to pack up make the big move. She missed her Grand Babies, and what can I say, I missed my Mom as well as my sanity.Mom’s move to Albuquerque didn’t come slowly. I went on the hunt for nearby houses and even entertained the possibility of Mom moving in with us until she found a place of her own. Because Mom wanted to move so suddenly, quick housing was hard to find. Mom wanted to buy, but figured she wanted to be sure about all the particulars before making such an investment. We searched and searched and asked about and looked at listings until we were blue in the face, this is when we came across the Sedona Ridge Apartments we were delighted to find such a close place for Mom to live. The Apartments are conveniently located next to a park, so when the kids spend the night they can go burn off some energy before dinner. Mom moved in quick and was able to bring her faithful friend Dustie. Dustie loves the park as well. Dustie is a dog by the way. We looked into a few other apartments including the Mountain Run, which would have been perfect as well as they accepted pets. It was also right next to a shopping center, but we couldn’t get Mom in fast enough, she was raring to go from the moment she thought of the idea to move. Mom is happy and I now have my sanity back. It’s a Win Win situation. I love my town and my Mom.  I love apartments in Albuquerque NM

What is the best camera for concerts?

Im going to a beyonce concert soon .. Im assuming there is going to be lots of lights and moving.

My budget is $1000

My pick would be the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100
A largish 1" sensor, coupled with a large f/1.8 lens enables you to cope with the demanding light levels

You need to learn how to use it properly. Familiarize yourself with the "exposure triangle", and tons of practice !!
